I’m a painter and printmaker whose work revolves around self-portraiture and the act of translation between image and body, surface and gesture. My practice is rooted in process and record keeping, using materials as sites of transfer where traces shift, fade, and reappear. I’m interested in how different mediums can absorb and transform experience, and how the body’s impressions can become both subject and tool. While painting and printmaking are at the core of my work, I often move between materials to study how they carry memory, presence, and change. My process is both introspective and physical, an ongoing investigation of what endures through contact and transformation.
